Russia and Indonesia Strengthen Economic and Cultural Ties through Strategic Forum in Moscow

At a conference titled "Indonesia’s Potential: Unlocking Opportunities," held at the Omsk Regional Government’s Representative Office in Moscow on Wednesday (July 23, 2025), high-level delegates from both nations gathered to reexamine long-term strategic prospects.
The forum focused on collaborative opportunities in industries ranging from agriculture and high technology to culture, education, healthcare, and tourism.
Omsk’s delegation emphasized that Indonesia is now considered a top-priority partner in their international economic expansion strategy.
“Indonesia is not just a potential partner—it is becoming a key axis in the future of our foreign economic policy,” Shpilenko asserted during the session.

As a tangible next step, the Government of Omsk Oblast is preparing a formal delegation visit to Indonesia in 2026, involving both officials and business actors to explore concrete collaboration projects.
“Indonesia is not just a potential partner—it is becoming a key axis in the future of our foreign economic policy,” Shpilenko asserted during the session.
